Connect your Slack workspace to the YesWeHack platform to get notified of reports' changes
Notifications include
- New bug reported
- Bug type
- Parent program
- Status change
- New comments
- Fix verification updates
Requirements
- Slack Workspace admin
- YesWeHack BU Owner or BU Manager roles
Integration Setup
- Go to the "Admin Panel"
- Click on "Integrations" on the left-side menu
- Click on "Add Slack Workspace"
Slack Workspace
- Connect to your Slack workspace. Make sure you have admin rights to proceed with the integration
- Allow the YesWeHack platform to access the workspace and channels
Slack Channels
Now that your Slack Workspace is connected to the YesWeHack platform, you can select the channels you would like to receive notifications on.
- Open the application details
- Choose which channels to connect to the YesWeHack platform. They can be existing ones or new ones
YesWeHack Platform
Your Slack workspace and selected channels now have access to the YesWeHack app.
The final step is to link the channels & programs on the YesWeHack platform. Once done, every report that belongs to these programs will trigger Slack notifications.
- Go back to your "Admin Panel/Integrations"
- Click on "Add a Slack Channel"
- Select your Slack workspace & write down the name of the channel(s)
- Get to the section "Program integration" and enable the Slack channels on the programs of your choice.
