Learn how to invite a list of hunters

Process overview

The standard process for selecting and inviting new Hunters is the following:

  • Your Customer Success Manager will provide a curated list of Hunters tailored to your requirements.

  • You will create an invitation group on the platform and add the selected Hunters to it.

  • You will Invite the group to participate in your program.


How to select new Hunters?

ℹ️ You must be a Business Unit Owner, a Business Unit Manager or a Program Manager to invite new hunters on your program(s).

Your Customer Success Manager (CSM) is here to help you with the platform and will assist you for the hunter's selection. Thanks to their experience with the community and the knowledge of your scopes, they will get you started by suggesting a list of hunters to invite.

This list can be based on several criteria (number of hunters, ranking, localization, skills, activity, etc.) and your CSM is here to build it for you.

💡 Best practices

Update your program before inviting new hunters, and avoid sending invitation on a Friday to prevent an important number of reports coming on a week-end.


Create a group of hunters

Let’s invite the Hunters from the list provided by the CSM by creating an invitation group.

ℹ️ You must be a Business Unit Owner or a Business Unit Manager to create a group.

  • Go to the “Admin panel”

  • Choose a “Business Unit” (BU)

  • Select “Invitation Groups” on the left-side panel

  • Click on “Create a group”

  • Choose a “Group name”

    • Example: [Program Name] - Hunters - Month Year

  • To add the Hunters from the list provided by your Customer Success Manager, simply copy & paste their email/usernames in the “Members” field

  • Click on “Create” to finish the process to create a group

Your group is now created!


Invite this group on your program(s)

Let’s discover how to invite this group on the program of your choice now that it has been created.

ℹ️ You must be a Business Unit Owner, a Business Unit Manager or a program manager to manage groups.

  • Go to the “Admin panel”

  • Select the “program” of your choice

  • Click on “Hunters” on the left-side menu

  • Click on “Invite hunters from group”

  • Select the “Group” you just created

  • Click on “Send”

  • It is possible to see all your invitation (pending, accepted and revoked) on the page below, which also contains a search bar and a dedicated role filter.


Manage your group(s)

ℹ️ You must be a Business Unit Owner or a Business Unit Manager to manage groups.

Use case

You have a Bug Bounty program and want to invite new hunters to this program by adding them to the existing group.

  • Go to the “Admin panel”

  • Choose a “Business Unit” (BU)

  • Click on “Invitation groups” in the left-side menu

  • Click on the right to “Edit” a group

  • To add or remove hunters in the group, click on “Update”

⚠️ When you add new hunters to an existing group, the platform will send an invitation to all new hunters in the group, but will also invite those who have been revoked in the past.

💡 Tips

If you already have a group of hunters on a program and wish to invite more hunters, simply replace old hunters in the group by the new ones. Then, just re-invite the updated group into the program.

  • Delete the group if you need.

ℹ️ When you delete a group from the “Invitation Groups” window, it won’t directly remove hunters (from this group) on your program.
